Job summary

Zoolatech in Poland is seeking a capable software engineer to contribute to a next-generation SaaS platform in transportation and logistics. You will develop end-to-end functionality across frontend and backend, building responsive UI with Angular and TypeScript and backend services with Node.js.

Qualifications

• Experience with Angular and modern frontend application development.
• Experience developing Node.js/TypeScript backend services.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience working with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and its use as an API facade.
• Ability to work across the full stack and tackle frontend UX challenges.
• Understanding of software engineering principles, clean code, maintainability.
• Ability to own development tasks and drive them to completion.

What You’ll Do:

Required Experience:

• Experience with Angular and modern frontend application development.
• Experience developing Node.js/TypeScript backend services.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience working with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and an understanding of how GraphQL can be used as an API/facade layer. Deep GraphQL specialization is not required.
• Ability to work across the full stack while being particularly comfortable solving complex frontend and user-experience challenges.
• Understanding of software engineering principles, clean code, maintainability, and application design.
• Ability to independently take ownership of development tasks and drive them through completion.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment with engineers of different seniority levels.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to discuss technical decisions, dependencies, and implementation approaches with the team.
