Job description

We are seeking a Group Senior Quality Improvement Specialist based at our office in Poznań, Poland to help turn customer feedback, quality data and recurring problems into measurable and lasting improvements across ROCKWOOL.

Ready to help build a better future for generations to come?

In an ever-changing, fast paced world, we owe it to ourselves and our future generations to live life responsibly. At ROCKWOOL, we work relentlessly to enrich modern living through our innovative stone wool solutions.

Join us and make a difference!

Your future team:

You will join a small, influential Group Quality team with global responsibility. This is a rare opportunity to shape quality standards and practices across ROCKWOOL while becoming part of a vibrant Quality community that spans countries, factories, and functions. You’ll collaborate closely with manufacturing sites, factories, and colleagues across Quality, Production, Product Management, R&D and technical functions to prevent quality problems and strengthen how we manage product quality risks at scale.

What you will be doing:

This is a senior individual-contributor role focused on problem-solving and cross-functional influence. Your impact comes through analytical expertise, the ability to see patterns others miss, and your talent for bringing people together around solutions, not through direct people management. You’ll have autonomy to prioritize critical quality challenges and drive improvements from data insight to verified results.

In this role, you will:

  • Analyze customer complaints, quality incidents and performance data to identify patterns, recurring problems and improvement opportunities: turning noise into signal.
  • Connect customer needs and feedback with product specifications, product performance and manufacturing processes, ensuring the voice of the customer shapes how we design and make products.
  • Lead structured investigations into significant and recurring quality problems using RCA, FMEA and other relevant Quality methods: getting to root cause, not just symptoms.
  • Use statistics and quality data to distinguish meaningful signals from normal variation, turning findings into clear priorities and actionable recommendations.
  • Drive cross-functional quality improvements from problem definition through implementation and verified results: bringing together colleagues from quality, production, product management, R&D and other functions to develop practical solutions.
  • Provide hands‑on support to manufacturing sites when significant or complex quality problems require Group Quality involvement, helping teams solve problems sustainably.
  • Help identify product quality risks and use learning from customer claims and quality incidents to strengthen preventive controls and reduce future incidents.
  • Support quality audits, maturity assessments and the implementation of Group Quality practices that embed customer‑centric thinking across the organization.
  • Contribute quality expertise to major business and digital transformation initiatives affecting quality processes, data and ways of working.
  • Work across our quality community to share learning and support adoption of improvements across the organization.
What you bring:
  • Ability to travel minimum 40 days per year
  • Significant senior‑level quality experience from an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Strong practical experience with structured problem solving, RCA, CAPA, FMEA and quality improvement.
  • Experience analyzing customer complaints, quality performance and/or manufacturing data.
  • Good understanding of statistics and the ability to apply it to real quality and manufacturing problems.
  • A track record of taking complex problems from investigation through implemented and verified improvement.
  • An analytical and structured approach , with the ability to turn complex information into clear conclusions and actions.
  • Experience driving cross-functional work and influencing people without formal authority.
  • Confidence working both with factory teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Relevant technical, engineering or quality‑related education, or equivalent experience.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.

Your background could include roles such as Quality Manager, Customer Quality Manager, Senior Quality Engineer or Quality Improvement/Excellence professional. You may already lead a quality team today but want to move closer to hands‑on problem solving and improvement while retaining significant international scope and influence

What we offer:

By joining our team, you become a part of the people-centric work environment of a Danish company. We offer you a competitive salary, permanent contract after the probation period, development package, team building events, activity-based office in Poznan’s city center in the new prestigious office building - Nowy Rynek. The building is recognized as a building without barriers, which means that it is fully adapted to the needs of people with disabilities.
