Job description

We are seeking a Group Senior Product & Process Quality Specialist based at our office in Poznań, Poland to help strengthen product and process quality across ROCKWOOL's global manufacturing organization.

Ready to help build a better future for generations to come?

In an ever-changing, fast paced world, we owe it to ourselves and our future generations to live life responsibly. At ROCKWOOL, we work relentlessly to enrich modern living through our innovative stone wool solutions.

Join us and make a difference!

Your future team:

You will join a small, influential Group Quality team with global responsibility. This is a rare opportunity to shape quality standards and practices across ROCKWOOL while becoming part of a vibrant Quality community that spans countries, factories, and functions. You'll collaborate closely with manufacturing sites, factories, and colleagues across Quality, Production, Product Management, R&D and technical functions to prevent quality problems and strengthen how we manage product quality risks at scale.

What you will be doing:

This is a senior individual-contributor role. Your impact comes through deep expertise, technical credibility, and your ability to influence others across the organization, not through direct people management. You'll have autonomy to prioritize critical quality challenges and shape how the Group approaches quality problems.

In this role, you will:

  • Support and challenge our manufacturing sites on product and process quality: helping prevent costly quality failures and customer impacts across our global factory network. This includes hands-on support when significant or complex quality issues require Group Quality involvement.
  • Analyze how raw materials, process conditions and variation affect critical product properties, turning data into actionable insights.
  • Identify critical product failure modes and strengthen the controls that prevent quality issues from reaching our customers, using FMEA and other risk-based quality methods.
  • Assess and improve quality controls, test methods, sampling, measurement systems and the practical use of statistics, SPC and process capability.
  • Lead or support investigations of significant product and process non-conformities and develop sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support product compliance activities, quality audits and maturity assessments.
  • Turn learning from individual factories into practical Group Quality standards and ways of working that raise quality across the organization.
  • Contribute Quality expertise to major business and digital transformation initiatives affecting product specifications, quality data and manufacturing processes.
  • Work across our Quality community to share knowledge and support continuous improvement across the organization.
What you bring:
  • Ability to travel minimum 40 days per year
  • Significant senior-level Quality experience from an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and how process variation affects finished-product performance.
  • Practical experience with FMEA, structured root-cause analysis, SPC/process capability, sampling and measurement systems.
  • Good understanding of statistics and the ability to apply it to real manufacturing and quality problems.
  • Experience with product testing, laboratory activities and manufacturing quality controls.
  • A track record of solving complex quality problems and implementing sustainable improvements.
  • An analytical and structured approach, combined with the ability to turn analysis into practical action.
  • Confidence working directly with factory teams and challenging existing practices constructively.
  • Relevant technical/engineering education or equivalent experience.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.

Your current title is less important than your experience. You may currently be a Plant Quality Manager, Quality Manager, Senior Quality Engineer or similar and want to move closer to the technical side of Quality while retaining broad responsibility and international influence.

Interested?

If you recognize yourself in this profile and challenge, we kindly invite you to apply with CV written in English.

What we offer:

By joining our team, you become a part of the people-centric work environment of a Danish company. We offer you a competitive salary, permanent contract after the probation period, development package, team building events, activity-based office in Poznan's city center in the new prestigious office building - Nowy Rynek. The building is recognized as a building without barriers, which means that it is fully adapted to the needs of people with disabilities.

  • An office-first approach
