Job summary

Travelplanet.pl is seeking a skilled Go backend developer to design and develop high-performance microservices powering our travel platform ecosystem across European markets. You will work with product owners, designers, and other developers to deliver scalable features and ensure system reliability.

The role emphasizes cloud-native architectures, handling large data volumes and maintaining HA for high-traffic services.

Qualifications

Strong experience with Go (Golang) and building microservices-based systems.
Ability to thrive in an environment with dynamic priorities and focus on outcomes.
Hands-on knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Solr, Elasticsearch).
Experience processing large volumes of data, including importing and transforming big XML files.
Solid understanding of modern infrastructure, including cloud environments, scalability, and high availability (HA).
Experience working on high-traffic, complex products with real-world performance and reliability challenges.
Travel market experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and develop high-performance, scalable Go-based solutions for our global platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and improvements.
Code review to maintain quality, performance, and consistency.
