Job summary

Persistent Systems in Kraków, Poland, is seeking a highly skilled Golang Developer to design and build scalable backend systems using modern cloud-native architectures. You will develop robust RESTful APIs and containerized services deployed on Kubernetes/OpenShift.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in Golang backend development, proficiency with REST APIs and microservices, and hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience in Golang.
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
• Cloud-native development with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs and backend services using Golang.
• Build and maintain enterprise-grade microservices architectures.
• Develop event-driven applications using messaging systems like Kafka or Pub/Sub.
• Containerize applications with Docker and deploy on Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Design and integrate with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with DevOps to enable CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
• Troubleshoot production and distributed environments.
