Job summary

Tenneco Inc. is seeking a Vendor Planner in Poland to manage supplier schedules and ensure uninterrupted material flow for manufacturing.

You will interface with suppliers, purchasing, production planning, logistics, and manufacturing teams to optimize inventory and supplier performance. You will monitor demand fluctuations, capacity constraints, and delivery performance while developing recovery plans and ensuring material readiness for production, including new product launches and engineering

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
2–3 years in supply chain, materials planning, or manufacturing operations.
Advanced German language skills.

Responsibilities

Create and communicate supplier forecasts and delivery schedules.
Analyze material requirements from demand, plans, and inventory targets.
Ensure suppliers understand and comply with delivery schedules and capacity requirements.
Monitor supplier performance and inventory risks to maintain production.
Coordinate expedited shipments to prevent production disruptions.
Support new product launches and engineering changes with material readiness.
Balance inventory to meet service levels while minimizing excess stock.
Track supplier delivery performance and respond to issues.
Maintain supplier data in SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
Generate reports on supplier performance, inventory levels, shortages, and material risks.
