Job summary

Boart Longyear Polska in Kąty Wrocławskie is seeking a Materials Planner to ensure smooth production flow by handling, allocating and transferring material, equipment, kits and supplies.

You will plan production activities, monitor performance to meet requirements, and provide input on shortages, design changes and backlogs. You’ll maintain supply and inventory levels and handle import/export administration in line with government rules.

Responsibilities include handling, allocating and transferring material, equipment, kits and supplies that are required and conducive to maintaining an efficient material flow through manufacturing. Performs a variety of production planning activities required to attain production objectives. Monitors production activity to ensure a smooth and controlled flow of materials timed to meet production requirements. Provides input to management regarding problems such as shortages, design changes and backlogs. Perform duties to maintain supply and inventory levels for deployed systems and/or products. Utilizes small hand tools and may operate material handling equipment. Responsible to ensure legal compliance and provides import/export administration and control within government rules and regulations, including appropriate licensing for shipments.
