Job summary

GE Vernova in Poland seeks a Field Engineer for generator diagnostics to lead on-site tests and diagnostics in close collaboration with back office and engineering teams. You will perform electrical and mechanical diagnostics, including robotic inspections, while ensuring safety and quality policies are followed.

Requirements include a degree in Power/Electrical Engineering, fluency in English and Polish, and readiness to travel internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Power or Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical exp.
• Good understanding of electrical testing methods and circuit diagrams.
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally (~30%).
• Fluent in English and Polish.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site diagnostics and electrical tests on generators.
• Perform robotic inspections and high voltage tests on generators.
• Plan and organize labor, tools and material allocation on site.
• Provide technical expertise to customers, service teams and operators.
• Attend technical meetings and provide timely internal/external reports.
