Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Global Technical Instructional Designer to design and deliver engaging technical content for our 12,000+ global employees in the High Voltage Business Unit. You will help architect the inaugural Global HV Learning Center of Expertise and craft skill- and role-based learning experiences that align with branded standards and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, with a Master’s degree preferred in Technology, Science, Technical Writing, or Instructional Design.
• 10+ years of experience in andragogy learning, training, and knowledge content management in manufacturing, engineering, higher education, or technology industries.
• Advanced experience using Camtasia, Articulate 360 (Storyline, Review, Rise), Screen Capture, Vyond, Synthesia, Adobe Creative Suite, and a Learning Management System.
• Experience designing micro-learning, role- and skill-based training, skill mapping, learning levels and paths, and adaptive learning strategies.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging technical content and courses across multiple formats (videos, scripts, scenarios, knowledge checks, case studies).
• Architect and maintain the Global HV Learning Center of Expertise.
• Lead project plans and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of training materials.
• Interpret content analytics to drive continuous improvement and learner success.
