Smith+Naphew in Wrocław, Poland, is looking for a Data Scientist to join the Supply Chain Planning Data Science Pod. You will develop advanced analytics and ML solutions to improve forecasting, inventory optimization and planning efficiency.

You will collaborate with global stakeholders to translate business challenges into modelling solutions, ensure scalable analytics, and embed models into planning processes to drive measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Experience in data science or applied analytics with a strong foundation in machine learning and statistical modelling.
• Proficiency in Python and experience working across the full model lifecycle, from development through deployment and monitoring.
• Ability to translate business problems into scalable analytical solutions that deliver measurable value.

Responsibilities

• Develop ML models and optimisation techniques to improve demand, supply and inventory planning.
• Validate, deploy and monitor analytic solutions; turn data into actionable decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand context and translate needs into modelling projects.
