Job summary

SHEIN is seeking a SOC Security Operations Engineer to join our global security team. You will monitor, detect, investigate and respond to security threats across IT and business systems, helping to continuously improve detection and response capabilities.

You will own day-to-day SOC operations, help build a unified operations framework, and collaborate with cross-regional teams to translate threat intelligence into practical rules and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber security or related field.
• 5+ years in SOC, incident response, or application security.
• Solid understanding of attack techniques and defense strategies.
• Experience with log and alert analysis across OS, networks, cloud.
• Knowledge of web vulnerabilities and code review.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day SOC operations and 24/7 coverage.
• Drive detection rules, incident response SOPs, and remediation workflows.
• Triage alerts focused on intrusions, malware, exfiltration, and privilege abuse.
• Perform post-incident reviews, root-cause analysis, and remediation.
• Collaborate with cross-regional teams to improve SOC maturity and metrics.
• Incorporate threat intelligence into operational detection and automation.
