Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Fluent in English.
• French or Arabic will be an advantage.
• Thorough knowledge of financial and regulatory reporting.
• Familiarity with regulatory landscape facing global banks.
• Experience managing Regulatory Inspections and Audits.
• Ability to interact with Senior Bank, Regulatory and Audit Management.
• Proven relationship management with key stakeholders.
• Project management experience with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of banking domain regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory regulations and discuss with executive management for solutions.
• Own regulatory reporting project management (business requirements, analysis, testing).
• Analyze risk-related guidelines, standards, rules and regulations.
• Partner with senior bank and risk colleagues and external regulators/auditors.
• Lead feedback sessions with regulators and drive changes across the organization.
• Develop talent and succession planning within the team.
• Collaborate to implement process changes and improve reporting efficiency.
• Manage and mitigate risks while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Assess reporting gaps and drive remediation with stakeholders.
• Address risks and improve control effectiveness in regulatory reporting.
• Transition toward straight-through processing for regulatory reports.
• Oversee audits and justify observations to regulators.
• Ensure regulatory reporting practices follow framework guidelines.
