Job summary

Glamox in Poland is seeking a Quality Engineer to support manufacturing and supplier quality processes. You will handle complaints, perform root-cause analyses, and drive 8D/CAPA activities while coordinating with production, engineering, and procurement teams to resolve quality issues.

The role requires a engineering degree, knowledge of quality tools, and reading technical drawings, with English at least B2 and strong analytical and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Experience in quality management, complaint handling, manufacturing, or supplier quality cooperation.
• Knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving methodologies (8D, RCA, CAPA).
• Familiarity with quality management systems, especially ISO 9001.
• Ability to read technical drawings and work with technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer complaints and coordinate investigation and corrective actions.
• Conduct root cause analyses and manage 8D/CAPA activities.
• Cooperate with suppliers to resolve quality-related issues.
• Monitor supplier quality performance and initiate continuous improvement actions.
• Participate in supplier audits and supporting supplier qualification and development processes.
• Analyze quality data and prepare reports and quality performance indicators.
• Support production, engineering, procurement, and project teams in solving quality issues.
• Participate in internal, external, customer, and certification audits.
• Develop and update quality documentation, work instructions, procedures, and control plans.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a quality culture within the organization.

Who you are:

Essential Skills And Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience in quality management, complaint handling, manufacturing, or supplier quality cooperation.
• Knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving methodologies, particularly 8D, RCA, and CAPA.
• Familiarity with quality management systems, especially ISO 9001.
• Ability to read technical drawings and work with technical documentation.
• English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications.
• Strong analytical thinking skills, with the ability to identify problems and propose effective solutions.
• Independence, accountability, and good organizational skills.
• Willingness to cooperate with customers, suppliers, and international teams.
• Nice to have
  • Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and/or IPC-A-600 standards
  • Experience in conducting internal and supplier audits
  • Driving license cat. B
  • SEP electrical qualifications up to 1 kV
