Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Project Quality Engineer to drive quality across electromechanical and safety‑critical systems. You will lead quality activities from early project engagement through Factory Witness Test (FWT) or Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), ensuring compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.

You’ll collaborate with Program Management, Engineering, Supplier Chain, and Operations to develop robust Quality Plans, manage supplier evidence, audits, and PPAP, and support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years experience in quality, product engineering or manufacturing engineering for electromechanical or safety‑critical electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead Quality activities from early project engagement until FAT/FWT.
• Ensure adherence to customer specs and industry standards.
• Work with Program/Project Management, Field Service, Product Engineering, Supplier Chain, Operations.
• Lead Quality Plan development and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Partner with Supplier Quality for audits, PPAP and evidence reviews.
• Coordinate Manufacturing Quality and Customer Quality activities.
• Drive Lessons Learned and capability building.
