Job summary

SkyCell AG is seeking a proactive Global Supplier and Warehouse Procurement Manager to oversee our international supplier network and support growth of our global operations. You will drive strategic sourcing, supplier management, and coordinate across warehouse and logistics services to ensure cost-efficiency and high service quality.

This role requires experience in pharma logistics standards, tender negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration across multinational teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in supplier management and strategic procurement
• Solid knowledge of pharma regulatory requirements (GDP, GMP) and cold chain logistics standards
• Strong tender management, contract and pricing negotiations and supplier performance management skills
• Deep knowledge of supply chain/ logistics processes and procurement best practices
• Experience working in a multinational organization and with international partnersAbility to analyse data and make decisions based on cost, risk, and company needs
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong cross-functional communication skills; able to work closely with internal stakeholders
• Hands-on mentality with strong process orientation
• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of global logistics service providers (LSPs), including sourcing, onboarding, performance management, and contract termination
• Identify and source new warehouse facilities and logistics partners aligned with business growth and operational requirements
• Lead RFIs/RFQs, rate negotiations, and annual re-negotiations to ensure cost-efficiency, service quality, and supply security
• Develop and manage supplier contracts, pricing structures, and procurement frameworks in line with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, monitoring performance (e.g. QBRs), KPIs, and cost savings, and implementing corrective actions where needed
• Coordinate the setup and implementation of new service centres, distribution hubs, and logistics operations globally, including ramp-up and ramp-down planning
• Standardise and optimise procurement processes, tools, and documentation, contributing to digitalisation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Act as a key cross-functional partner, aligning procurement activities with business forecasts, operations, maintenance, and development projects
• Support warehouse and supply chain process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and operational performance
• Manage procurement-related administration, including rate uploads, invoice and claims resolution, and infrastructure coordination (e.g. hardware, temperature mapping)
• Serve as an escalation point for operational and structural issues across warehouse and logistics networks
