Job summary

Servier is seeking an External Manufacturing Buyer (Pharmaceuticals and packaging subcontracting) to join the Procurement team. Based in a remote organization with cross-functional teams across Europe and the USA, you will lead sourcing, RFx processes, and supplier risk assessment for outsourced manufacturing.

You will manage contracts, renewals and statements of work, evaluate supplier performance using KPIs, and coordinate with quality, regulatory and legal groups to ensure supply continuity

Qualifications

• Must have direct procurement experience in pharmaceutical, biomedical, or chemical industries.
• Experience in sourcing, contract negotiation and supplier relationship management, ideally in CDMO environments.
• Experience in cross-functional multicultural teams and risk management processes.
• Familiarity with GMP environments and English proficiency.
• Biologics or sterile drug product procurement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent Procurement in cross-functional teams that support day-to-day operations.
• Lead sourcing activities, RFx processes, supplier risk assessment and onboarding.
• Contract and Claim Management: lead negotiation and implementation of new contracts; lead renewals, amendments and statements of work; participate in claim resolution.
• Participate in evaluation of suppliers' performance (KPI dashboards).
• Ensure execution of action plans for underperforming suppliers.
• Coordinate with other departments to support supplier oversight (supply chain, technical, quality, regulatory, legal).
• Participate in preparation of Business review meetings.
• Support Category Management: definition of strategy and review of preferred suppliers; study CDMO market dynamics; apply category strategy.
