Hitachi Energy is seeking a Digital Transformation Specialist to lead a high-impact portfolio that links technology with business needs. You will develop, implement and execute IT capabilities, planning and building IT solutions for business functions in a multinational setting.

In this role you will drive PLM strategies, integrate PLM with ERP/MES, promote Digital Thread and configuration management, and guide teams across borders.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT and digital transformation.
• Strong background in Computer Science or Engineering with deep PLM systems knowledge.
• Proven track record leading global PLM transformation programs in engineering and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Execute the PLM strategy aligned with digital transformation objectives to drive business value.
• Integrate PLM with ERP, MES, and downstream systems for seamless data flow.
• Promote Digital Thread and configuration management to expand traceability and collaboration.
• Optimize cross-functional processes using Lean and Six Sigma across BOMs and process plans.
• Engage stakeholders across business units to capture requirements and enable global collaboration.
• Lead governance and change management for new PLM tools and continuous improvement.
