AUTODOC in Europe is seeking a Global Payroll Manager to lead a multi-country payroll team across Germany, Ukraine, Moldova, Czechia, Poland and Portugal. You will drive automation, ensure compliance, and partner with Finance and People Delivery to deliver accurate payroll and reporting.

The role requires 7+ years payroll, 3+ years leadership, and fluency in English and German. Hybrid work and competitive benefits are offered in a fast-growing tech-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-cycle payroll experience, including multi-country European setup.
• 3+ years managing remotely collaborating, multi-country payroll teams.
• Experience with external providers, SLAs, audits, and compliance.
• Automation or system implementation experience (Workday, AI tools).

Responsibilities

• Global payroll delivery across 13 countries with timely execution.
• Steer supplier strategies and provider management with SLAs and reviews.
• Lead automation initiatives to streamline payroll processes.
• Ensure compliance, controls and audit readiness.
• Improve data quality and end-to-end processes on Jira.
• Deliver consolidated payroll reporting to Finance for closing.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-country payroll team.
