Job summary

Deel specializes in all-in-one payroll and HR platform for global teams, supporting 150+ countries and a diverse workforce. We’re seeking an experienced Payroll Implementation leader to drive end-to-end migrations, ensure data accuracy, and coordinate with stakeholders across HR, Finance, and clients.

You will manage onboarding, data migration, testing, go-live, and ongoing support while maintaining rigorous compliance with local laws.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in global payroll implementation and payroll operations.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and compliance across your designated location.
• Experience with payroll systems and software.
• Client-facing project management experience and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Responsibilities

• Project Set-up and onboarding with clients to run kickoff meetings and deliver implementations.
• Client and Project Management with status reviews and scope changes.
• Define payroll processes and client payroll calendars.
• Maintain project documentation.
• Configure interfaces, reports and systems for parallel and live payroll.
• Go-live, sign-off and documentation; generate reports for audit.
• Lead end-to-end payroll implementation globally.
• Gather requirements from clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local tax and labor laws.
• Oversee data migration from legacy systems.
• Develop and execute testing plans.
• Implement change management for smooth transitions.
• Communicate with client as single point of contact.
