Job summary

Evotym is seeking a Chief Business Development Officer to own the commercial strategy and execution for the payment gateway product across multiple regions. You will lead revenue growth, enter new markets, and build a high-performing international sales organization.

You will represent Evotym externally, develop regional strategies, and ensure consistent performance while building and guiding a global sales team, with a strong focus on merchant needs and partnerships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the payments industry.
• Minimum 3 years in a sales leadership role.
• Proven track record in selling payment solutions (acquiring, issuing, or payment gateway).
• Strong understanding of merchant needs.
• Experience expanding into new markets and regions.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global sales strategy for the payment gateway product.
• Drive business development and revenue growth across regions.
• Identify and enter new markets, establishing regional presence.
• Build, lead, and scale an international sales team.
• Set clear KPIs and ensure performance and accountability.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, client meetings.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and compliance teams to align commercial efforts.
