Zusammenfassung

Vestas is seeking an experienced Global Offshore Support Field Trainer to coach Offshore Service Site Technicians at new sites across Regions during readiness and ramp-up phases. You will promote knowledge sharing and implement best practices to minimise lost production from day one.

You will undergo technical training at Vestas centres and be placed at new Offshore Service sites globally, driving safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement while travelling up to 180 days a year.

Qualifikationen

• Electrical or mechanical degree from a technical school/college/university.
• Relevant professional experience in electrical or mechanical fields beneficial.
• Experience as a Field Trainer/Lead Technician or similar is advantageous.
• Must hold Authorised Technician status on V164/V174 or EnVentus platforms.
• Strong English skills, oral and written.
• Full driver’s license.
• IT skills including SAP, Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Must be able to obtain work visas globally (EU, USA, Japan, Korea, Taiwan).

Aufgaben

• Train and coach technicians on operation and maintenance of V236 15MW turbines, promoting OneVestas.
• Act as a key contact for lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
• Support site teams in following Vestas processes and best practices for offshore operations.
• Assist with troubleshooting and fault diagnosis on electrical and mechanical systems on-site and remotely.
• Deliver technical and operational training on the V236 platform and onboard new technicians.
• Improve efficiency by increasing first-time fix rates and reducing service times, using Power BI for performance monitoring.
• Promote safety and operational excellence by coaching teams on Wind Turbine Safety Rules.
