Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) is seeking a Global Mechanical Engineering Discipline Leader to steer standards and performance across our global R&D organization. You will lead a distributed engineering community, influence product development across sites, and ensure high-performance, cost-effective mechanical solutions.

You will define global standards, train teams, and act as a technical advisor to engineering leadership and cross-functional groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required; Master’s or PhD preferred.
• 15+ years of mechanical engineering R&D in global industrial environments.
• 10+ years of direct and indirect leadership across regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Mechanical Engineering Discipline worldwide across sites.
• Define and deploy global standards, methodologies, and tools for mechanical design.
• Influence product development and ensure high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
• Drive cross-site collaboration, design reviews, and readiness for project gates.
• Support resource planning and capacity management for engineering teams.
