Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) invites applications for a Global Mechanical Engineering Discipline Leader. Lead a distributed mechanical engineering community, shape standards and tools, and ensure high-performance, cost-effective, and reliable mechanical solutions across the global R&D organization.

You will mentor leaders, drive design for value, and collaborate across sites to meet program goals, with travel up to 10-15% as needed.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in mechanical engineering R&D within global industrial environments.
• Proven leadership across multiple regions and cross-functional teams.
• Experience applying CAE/FEA to complex assemblies and thermal / structural analyses.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Mechanical Engineering Discipline globally across sites.
• Define and deploy global standards, methodologies, and tools for mechanical design.
• Drive continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and resource planning across a portfolio of projects.
