Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) in Poland is seeking a Global Mechanical Engineering Discipline Leader to drive standards, methods and performance across our multinational R&D network. You will lead a distributed engineering community, defining global design processes, conducting gate reviews, and ensuring high‑quality, cost‑efficient mechanical solutions on a portfolio of projects.

Travel up to 10–15% is expected; a Mechanical Engineering degree (Master/PhD preferred) and 15+ years of R&D

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; advanced degrees preferred.
• 15+ years in mechanical engineering R&D in global industrial settings.
• 10+ years of leadership across regions; able to travel 10–15%.
• Experience in CAE/FEA for complex assemblies; Creo/Windchill familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Mechanical Engineering Discipline worldwide, aligning with strategy and roadmaps.
• Define global standards, methodologies, and tools for mechanical design.
• Collaborate with product teams across sites to ensure project readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and talent development.
