Job summary

GE Vernova's Gas Power business seeks a Material Management Specialist in Poland to manage end-to-end procurement for regional and global needs. This role focuses on ITO and OTR processes, ensuring parts are ordered, tracked, and delivered on time by coordinating with internal GE factories, service shops, and project teams.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5+ years in procurement, with strong ERP/MRP experience, excellent communication, and the ability to handle high-volume

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or material management in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong experience with ERP/MRP systems for order management and inventory tracking.
• Ability to manage high-volume transactional workflows and prioritize competing demands.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal factory teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• ITO Execution: Validate material requirements, coordinate with supply teams for lead times and pricing.
• Procurement Execution: Issue POs, maintain open order reports, ensure documentation compliance.
• Fulfilment Management: Own Order to Receipt, track shipments, monitor lead times, resolve delays.
• Tactical Supply Coordination: Execute sourcing strategies, confirm capacity, expedite critical parts.
• Order Maintenance: Ensure ERP/MRP data is current; review open orders to clear roadblocks.
• Cross-Functional Problem Solving: Collaborate with Sourcing, Logistics, Fulfillment to resolve shortages.
• Compliance & Reporting: Adhere to procurement policies and monitor On-Time Delivery metrics.
