Job summary

GE Vernova's Gas Power business designs and services gas turbines for electricity generation, with a global installed base. The Material Management Specialist owns end-to-end procurement and fulfillment for regional and global needs, driving ITO and OTR processes, coordinating with internal factories, service shops, and project teams to ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities include issuing POs, maintaining open order reports, tracking shipments, expediting parts, and ensuring data accuracy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3–5+ years of procurement experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience with ERP/MRP for order management and inventory tracking.

Responsibilities

• ITO Execution: validate material requirements and coordinate with supply teams for lead times and pricing.
• Procurement Execution: issue POs, maintain open order reports, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Fulfilment Management: manage Order to Receipt, track shipments, and resolve delays.
• Tactical Supply Coordination: work with GE factories and service shops to confirm capacity and expedite parts.
• Order Maintenance: keep ERP/MRP data current and review open orders to clear roadblocks.
• Cross-Functional Problem Solving: partner with Sourcing, Logistics, and Fulfillment to resolve shortages.
• Compliance & Reporting: ensure adherence to policies and monitor On-Time Delivery.
