Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a seasoned Master Scheduler to lead a global team of schedulers across nuclear, fossil, and industrial segments. You will design and govern enterprise‑level scheduling architecture and orchestrate the integrated master schedule for steam services upgrades, coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and field service.

The role requires deep expertise in master scheduling, IMS, and lead‑time concepts, with the ability to coach teams and drive decision‑making

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Master Scheduling and IMS concepts.
• Ability to develop and coach teams and drive a high‑performing team culture.
• Ability to frame decisions under uncertainty and influence key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define scheduling standards as part of the S&OE governance.
• Make schedule performance measurable, transparent and predictive.
• Embed risk and probabilistic thinking into scheduling.
• Lead schedulers including third‑party services and build a scheduling talent system.
• Translate schedule data into business insights for the S&OE framework.
• Maintain upgrades master schedule aligned with contractual commitments.
• Balance load versus capacity for critical resource pools.
• Identify risks and conflicts; lead recovery and scenario planning.
• Enforce scheduling discipline, time fences, and change governance in the IMS process.
• Provide a single, trusted integrated upgrades schedule for leadership.
