Job summary

GE Vernova in Central Europe seeks a Lead Product Structuring Configuration Engineer to define and maintain complex BOMs for Steam Turbine and Generator products, ensuring modularity and data integrity across engineering and manufacturing.

You will lead PLM-ERP data integration, drive a unified digital thread, mentor a regional team, and promote standardized configuration workflows that align local plant needs with global standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in PDE, Systems Engineering, or Configuration Management in a complex industrial environment.
• Proven technical background in Steam Turbines and/or Generators.
• Ability to lead technical workstreams, mentor colleagues, and drive project initiatives.
• Proficiency in English and Polish.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical definition and maintenance of BOMs for Steam Turbine and Generator components, ensuring accuracy and modularity.
• Drive data flows between PLM and ERP systems to maintain a continuous digital thread.
• Act as the primary technical contact for regional manufacturing sites, deploying standardized configuration logic.
• Develop and audit standardized processes for product structure management and automate data transfers.
• Bridge the gap between Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and IT for manufacturing-ready data sets.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team and promote new digital tools and workflows.
