Job summary

3M is seeking a Global Logistics Industrial Engineer to drive analytics, broker performance, and governance across the global network. You will partner with cross-functional teams and external brokers to standardize processes, integrate data into control tower platforms, and deliver measurable improvements in cost, service, and productivity.

You will develop broker scorecards, dashboards, and SLAs, apply AI-enabled tools, and translate complex logistics data into clear insights for leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) completed and verified before start.
• Minimum 5 years of combined experience in logistics, trade compliance operations, or related fields.
• Hands-on proficiency with data analysis, automation, modeling, and visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, Alteryx, Tableau.
• Experience applying AI-enabled tools within logistics or supply chain environments is preferred.
• Experience working with operational data, performance reporting, dashboards, and productivity initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics and continuous improvement initiatives focused on broker management and filing performance.
• Design, validate, and implement standardized customs filing and broker management processes.
• Develop broker performance management frameworks including scorecards and dashboards.
• Support broker contract standardization and optimization with spend transparency and governance.
• Partner with IT and data teams to integrate broker, customs, and transport data into control tower platforms.
• Build automated reporting and BI solutions using Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, and Python.
• Analyze workflows and identify root causes to drive improvements across stakeholders.
• Apply operations research, statistics, and AI techniques to improve productivity.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.
• Track value realization and support implementation plans to meet targets.
