The company seeks a General Ledger Accountant to ensure accurate period-end processing, journal entries, and reconciliations in SAP, while maintaining compliance with accounting policies. You will work in a hybrid setup (office and home) and engage with an international environment, coordinating with country controllers and internal

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Finance and Accounting, Economics or Business-related studies.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance.
• Strong understanding of accounting rules and policies.
• Fluent business English (oral and written).
• Experience with SAP.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Aufgaben

• Conduct period-end processing and reporting, journal entries, accruals & recurring entries, posting and analysis with proper GL reconciliation.
• Monitor and verify sub-ledger transactions in SAP with reconciliation activities.
• Handle daily fixed asset creation, maintenance, depreciation, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, SLAs, and J-SOX controls.
• Support internal/external audits and participate in walkthroughs.
• Post manual transactions from country controllers or other units.
• Perform GL account reconciliations (GR/IR, Goods in Transit).
• Contribute to GL process improvement initiatives.
