Olympus Corporation in Wrocław, Poland, is seeking a Finance Specialist to support period-end closing, GL reconciliations and SAP-based processes. You will maintain master data, monitor sub-ledger activities, and ensure compliance with policy and J-SOX controls.

The role requires 2+ years in finance, a university degree in finance or related studies, fluent business English, strong Excel skills, and a willingness to work in a hybrid mode (60% office, 40% home).

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Finance and Accounting, Economics or Business-related studies.
• Minimum 2 years of experience within the Finance department.
• Understanding of accounting rules and policies.
• Fluent business English (oral and written skills).
• Experience with SAP.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid mode (60% at the office, 40% from home).

Aufgaben

• Conducting period-end processing and reporting, journal entries, accruals & recurring entries calculations, posting and analysis while overseeing the correct reconciliation of accounts to GL;
• Maintaining GL master data;
• Monitoring and checking sub-ledger business transactions in SAP with reconciliation activities;
• Performing daily activities related to fixed asset creation, maintenance, depreciation, and reporting;
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting policies, procedures, SLAs, and J-SOX controls;
• Provide information to internal/external audit and take part in walkthrough processes;
• Postings of manual business transactions based on inputs received from country controllers, business partners or other business units;
• Performing GL account reconciliations e.g. GR/IR, Goods in Transit;
• Contributing to GL process improvement initiatives as required.
