Job summary

Arla Foods is seeking a Risk & Compliance Manager in Gdańsk to strengthen IT general controls, financial reporting integrity, and risk mitigation across finance, IT and operations. You will collaborate with auditors and business stakeholders to implement effective controls in a multinational production environment.

The role emphasizes IT control improvements, segregation of duties, and data analytics, with a 50%+ office presence.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of risk, compliance or internal audit experience in a large international company.
• University degree in finance, accounting, or information systems; a recognised professional qualification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and internal control principles.
• Practical understanding of IT General Controls and related IT operations controls.
• Experience with external auditors on audits of financially relevant applications.
• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management and Segregation of Duties.
• Ability to explain IT control matters to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive risk assessments across processes, countries and systems with focus on fraud and financial reporting risks.
• Coordinate and support IT General Controls for the annual Group audit; assist with scoping, evidence and remediation follow-up.
• Facilitate collaboration between external auditors, IT, Finance and process owners on IT controls and audit findings.
• Assess and improve IT General Controls including access, change management and IT operations controls.
• Support remediation of Segregation of Duties and critical access risks with business and IT teams.
• Conduct risk-based compliance reviews and identify opportunities for data analytics and control automation.
