Job summary

Baxter Healthcare is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist for Global Indirect Procurement. This role leads category strategies, analyzes spend, and negotiates with suppliers across global sites. It requires collaboration with senior partners and cross-functional teams to deliver value and save costs.

The position offers a hybrid work model (3 days on-site) in Poland with a strong emphasis on strategic sourcing, supplier relationships, and driving innovation within a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering or related area.
• Intermediate or advanced English.
• Minimum 3 years of category experience; multinational experience a plus.
• Proven experience in people, stakeholder, and project management.
• Ability to coordinate multiple parallel sourcing initiatives across different business groups.
• Strong analytic and negotiation skills.
• Experience contracting including but not limited to Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, Amendments and NDAs.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural and matrix environment.
• Understanding of Procurement standard processes, supply markets, suppliers and products.
• Understanding of pricing models and contracts terms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal partners to implement category strategies and value pipeline.
• Perform in-depth spend and market analysis on targeted areas of spend.
• Support development and execution of annual savings plans.
• Develop RFIs/RFPs and lead negotiations for key spend areas.
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive complex sourcing projects.
• Register projects in sourcing tools and provide status reports.
• Lead supplier selection, risk assessment, and contract negotiations for key projects.
• Communicate with senior management and cross-functional teams to gain buy-in.
• Apply cost benchmarks, financial analysis and risk management to sourcing issues.
• Support implementation of defined sourcing strategy and preferred suppliers.
• Generate regular category spend reports and monitor benefits.
• Drive supplier relationship management with key suppliers.
• Promote innovation by leveraging supplier base and market developments.
