Job summary

Grass Valley is seeking a practical and business‑oriented lawyer to join our global Legal team, supporting a broad range of matters across an international media technology business.

This in‑house role covers commercial contracts, corporate matters, IP, HR and day‑to‑day legal questions, with engagement across regions (EMEA, America and LATAM) and collaboration with internal teams and external advisors.

Qualifications

• Law degree and at least 4 years of legal experience.
• Experience in an international environment, in-house or at a law firm.
• Experience with commercial contracts and general legal support.
• Exposure to technology, SaaS, software, media technology or similar sectors.
• Experience in, or interest in, corporate, IP, HR / employment and legal operations matters.
• Strong communication skills in English, preferably C1 level or above.
• Familiarity with AI tools supporting legal work would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review and draft a variety of commercial agreements, including customer, supplier, SaaS, product sales, services, confidentiality and other business contracts.
• Support the Legal team on corporate governance, company administration and group projects.
• Assist with IP-related matters, including coordination of internal stakeholders and external advisors.
• Support HR and employment-related matters in coordination with HR and local counsel where required.
• Provide practical legal guidance to internal stakeholders across regions.
• Help maintain and improve legal templates, workflows, repositories and internal processes.
• Coordinate with external counsel and internal teams on multi-jurisdictional matters.
• Support other typical in-house legal tasks as required by the business.
