Job summary

emagine is seeking a Group Finance GL investigator to own complex accounting issues, drive reconciliations, and standardize global processes. You will work with reconciliations, data, and transactions to deliver lasting fixes and clear ownership.

Ideal candidates have external audit or finance experience, strong Excel and ERP skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders without formal authority across countries.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in external audit, financial controlling, accounting or a similar finance role.
• GL accounting, balance sheets, month-end close and reconciliations.
• Trace reported balances back to transactions and documents.
• Strong in Excel and data analysis, and comfortable with ERP systems.
• Experience across several entities or countries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of accounting, reconciliation, close or process issues; identify root causes and elevate material risks.
• Run sample reconciliations and key controls with local teams to strengthen GL quality.
• Simplify and standardise GL processes across countries while respecting local needs.
• Lead cross-country investigations and present findings and recommendations.
• Spot patterns behind recurring problems and help decide ownership of fixes.
