Job summary

Verisk is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive General Ledger Accountant to join our Corporate Finance team in Kraków. You will support month-end close, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and SOX compliance.

This role offers broad exposure to corporate accounting operations in a global environment and opportunities to contribute to process improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with teams across the US and worldwide to strengthen financial controls and drive accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in general ledger accounting.
• Strong understanding of month-end close processes.
• Knowledge of SOX controls and financial reporting requirements.
• Ability to prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience supporting cross-border financial operations is a plus.
