Job summary

Armacell is seeking a senior MES/automation leader to drive GE Proficy rollout across global manufacturing sites. You will own the technical strategy, ensure readiness, and govern architecture for the MES platform.

Responsibilities include defining standards, guiding SAP integration, and mentoring engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a standardized, scalable MES deployment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in MES or industrial automation.
• Extensive hands-on experience with GE Proficy Plant Applications, Proficy Historian and CIMPLICITY.
• Expertise in SAP integration within MES environments.
• Working knowledge of PLC, SCADA and OPC UA integration.
• Proficiency in SQL Server administration and MES troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of ISA-95/ISA-88 architecture across multi-site deployments.
• NET/C# development and REST APIs, with Azure DevOps or Git workflows a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally (~40%).

• Own MES solution and global template
• Lead solution architecture and governance for GE Proficy Plant Applications
• Define development standards across the platform
• Review integration partner deliverables for quality and compliance
• Direct design and code reviews and architectural decisions
• Maintain platform roadmap and mentor engineers
