Job summary

Armacell seeks a senior MES expert to shape the GE Proficy-based manufacturing execution layer across its global plants. You will own the MES template, drive rollout readiness and ensure standardized deployments worldwide.

You will lead architecture governance, enforce technical standards, review integrations with SAP, and mentor engineers while traveling internationally up to 40%.

Shape the technical backbone of Armacell's global manufacturing operations as the authority for GE Proficy MES, ensuring consistent, standardised deployments across every plant worldwide.

Your Tasks

• Drive MES rollout and plant readiness across global manufacturing sites
• Validate infrastructure, automation and SAP integration readiness
• Hold technical ownership of the MES solution and global template
• Lead solution architecture and design governance for GE Proficy Plant Applications
• Define and enforce technical and development standards across the platform
• Review and challenge integration partner deliverables for quality and compliance
• Direct design and code reviews, integration principles and architectural decisions
• Maintain the platform roadmap, drive standardisation and mentor engineers

Your Profile

• 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems or industrial automation
• Extensive hands-on experience with GE Proficy Plant Applications, Proficy Historian and CIMPLICITY
• Demonstrated expertise in SAP integration within a manufacturing execution environment
• Working knowledge of PLC, SCADA and OPC UA integration principles
• Proficiency in SQL Server administration and troubleshooting within MES environments
• Applied knowledge of ISA-95 and ISA-88 architecture standards across multi-site deployments
• .NET/C# development, REST APIs and Azure DevOps or Git workflows an advantage
• Availability for international travel (~40%)
