Job summary

Armacell is seeking a senior MES/automation leader to drive GE Proficy rollout across global manufacturing sites. You will own the technical strategy, ensure readiness, and govern architecture for the MES platform.

Responsibilities include defining standards, guiding SAP integration, and mentoring engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a standardized, scalable MES deployment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in MES or industrial automation.
• Extensive hands-on experience with GE Proficy Plant Applications, Proficy Historian and CIMPLICITY.
• Expertise in SAP integration within MES environments.
• Working knowledge of PLC, SCADA and OPC UA integration.
• Proficiency in SQL Server administration and MES troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of ISA-95/ISA-88 architecture across multi-site deployments.
• NET/C# development and REST APIs, with Azure DevOps or Git workflows a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally (~40%).

Your Profile

• 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems or industrial automation
• Extensive hands-on experience with GE Proficy Plant Applications, Proficy Historian and CIMPLICITY
• Demonstrated expertise in SAP integration within a manufacturing execution environment
• Working knowledge of PLC, SCADA and OPC UA integration principles
• Proficiency in SQL Server administration and troubleshooting within MES environments
• Applied knowledge of ISA-95 and ISA-88 architecture standards across multi-site deployments
• .NET/C# development, REST APIs and Azure DevOps or Git workflows an advantage
• Availability for international travel (~40%)
