Job summary

RemotePass is seeking a Financial Controller to own global financial close, reporting, and compliance for multiple entities. This role ensures accurate intercompany accounting, tax filings, and audit coordination, supporting a remote-first, international framework.

You will lead financial consolidation across currencies, strengthen internal controls, and drive automation to streamline the close process.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in accounting/finance, multi-entity or multi-country consolidation.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualification preferred.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) and strong cross-functional communication.
• Experience with IFRS and/or US GAAP; intercompany accounting and transfer pricing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end and year-end close for all entities ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee AR/AP, intercompany reconciliations, and transfer pricing documentation.
• Coordinate statutory financial statements, audits, and local tax filings with in-country teams.
• Maintain internal controls aligned with local GAAP/IFRS requirements and group policies.
• Monitor tax, licensing, and regulatory obligations across jurisdictions; liaise with auditors and advisors.
• Support consolidation and cash management across currencies and entities; assist budgeting and forecasting.
