Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Global Portfolio Lead – Finance Solutions to drive measurable value across Finance initiatives, partnering with Global Finance CoE leadership and stakeholders to shape and execute the strategic portfolio.

In this full-time role, you will manage the Finance project portfolio roadmap, assess initiatives, coach project managers, mitigate risks, and report progress to senior leadership across multiple countries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting/human resources/project management.
• Minimum 5 years in finance, accounting, procurement, and/or project management.
• Minimum 5 years leading cross-functional project teams in an international context.
• Experience leading transformation and program/project management across multiple domains and countries.
• Business fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Advanced MS Office skills and experience with project planning tools + AI applications.
• Strong risk identification and stakeholder management abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across organizational levels.
• Ability to navigate complex dynamics and ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver measurable business value, quality, and cost savings through portfolio initiatives.
• Develop and manage the Finance project portfolio roadmap with detailed planning and execution.
• Evaluate initiatives for scope, value, resourcing, budgets and success factors.
• Coach project managers in planning and execution across global projects.
• Manage senior stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment and lifecycle success.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to drive initiatives.
• Provide regular project updates to Global Finance CoE leadership and manage risks.
• Act as contact for a portfolio of global projects and ensure information alignment.
• Contribute to business case development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Advance PDS project management capabilities, methodologies, and tools.
