Responsibilities

• Define and execute the vision, strategy and operating model for the Global Finance CoE as a strategic capability and transformation platform.
• Align priorities with Takeda’s Finance strategy, enterprise objectives and commitment to patients.
• Provide enterprise thought leadership on the future of Finance, Procurement and global capabilities.
• Deliver high-quality, compliant, resilient and cost-effective Finance and Procurement services globally.
• Establish clear accountability for service performance, customer experience and value realization.
• Use disciplined governance, transparent KPIs and benchmarks to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Simplify, standardize and harmonize end-to-end Finance and Procurement processes, with clear ownership and decision rights.
• Redesign processes, roles and capabilities around enterprise outcomes while balancing business context and proximity needs.
• Execute transformation with pace and discipline while protecting business continuity.
• Set and lead an AI-first digital agenda for Finance and Procurement.
• Scale automation, analytics, digital workflows and emerging technologies against measurable business outcomes.
• Reimagine processes, operating models and user experiences rather than digitizing existing ways of working.
• Build enterprise capability in AI adoption, data literacy, product thinking and digital innovation.
• Deploy reusable horizontal capabilities, including operations excellence, process mining and transition management, in partnership with Digital and Technology.
