Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimise advanced food processing equipment across Poland and globally. You will be the face of our service team at customer sites, combining hands-on engineering with clear reporting and a customer-first approach.

Travel approx. 60% within Poland and 40% international, with autonomy to manage service visits, installations, and training while delivering high standards of safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in Field Service, Technical Service, Maintenance, or similar engineering environment.
• Technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair JBT Marel equipment at customer sites across Poland and globally.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and provide effective solutions to minimise downtime.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and inspections to maximise equipment reliability.
• Provide customers with technical guidance and training on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Prepare accurate service reports documenting findings, actions, and recommendations.
• Identify spare parts requirements and highlight opportunities for repairs or upgrades.
