Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced food-processing equipment across Poland and the EMEA region, travel to customer sites, and maximise uptime.

You will train operators, prepare service reports, and collaborate with engineering teams on upgrades. A technical qualification in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering and willingness to travel are required. Fluent Turkish and good English are essential.

• Experience in field service, industrial maintenance, or manufacturing.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Fluent Turkish and good English communication (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair at customer sites in Poland and EMEA.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues on advanced equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximise uptime.
• Deliver training to operators and maintenance teams.
• Prepare service reports and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and project teams to ensure quality service.
• Support larger installation projects across the EMEA as needed.

Are you ready to deliver hands-on technical expertise across Poland and the EMEA region? JBT Marel is looking for a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Engineer to support our customers across Poland and the wider EMEA region. In this role, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimise advanced food processing equipment, ensuring maximum performance and reliability for our customers.

This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who enjoys combining technical problem-solving with customer interaction in a highly international environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carry out installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair activities at customer sites across Poland and EMEA
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues on advanced processing equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to maximise equipment uptime and operational efficiency
• Support customers with operational, maintenance, and technical guidance
• Deliver training to operators and maintenance teams on equipment operation and best practices
• Prepare accurate service reports, technical documentation, and follow-up recommendations
• Identify spare parts requirements and recommend upgrades or improvements where appropriate
• Collaborate with internal engineering, technical support, and project teams to ensure high-quality service delivery
• Support larger installation and upgrade projects across the EMEA region when required

You are a hands-on and solution-oriented engineer working in Poland who enjoys travelling, solving technical challenges, and building strong customer relationships. You thrive in dynamic environments and are comfortable working independently while remaining closely connected to a wider international team.

Experience & Education

• Technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
• Experience working in field service, industrial maintenance, or manufacturing environments
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems with electrical fault-finding capability
• Experience within food processing or automated industrial equipment is an advantage
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Fluent Turkish and good English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Valid driving licence and passport required
