Job summary

Astellas Global Capability Centre in Warsaw, Poland seeks an experienced EHS & Sustainability Professional to lead enterprise-wide frameworks, standards, governance and capability-building to enable consistent execution across markets. Reporting to Head of EHS&S, you will influence senior stakeholders and drive governance, risk management and data governance.

You will shape the organisation's EHS&S agenda, translate regulatory expectations into enterprise standards, promote a proactive safety

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Sustainability, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Proven experience in EHS, sustainability, governance, compliance, or related corporate functions.
• Experience developing enterprise-wide frameworks or governance models in a global organisation.
• Strong understanding of EHS&S regulations, sustainability reporting, risk management, data governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of enterprise EHS&S frameworks, standards, governance and ways of working.
• Partner with Head of EHS&S to translate priorities into enterprise standards and capability-building initiatives.
• Build organizational capability in environmental sustainability, health and safety, compliance and risk management.
• Own and enhance EHS&S data governance framework and reporting integrity.
• Interpret EHS&S regulations and translate into enterprise standards and guidance.
• Define and maintain enterprise approach to EHS&S risk identification, assessment and escalation.
• Promote proactive safety culture and incident learning.
• Ensure effective incident investigation and corrective actions.
