Job summary

Corning in Poland seeks a Global Demand Planner to lead demand forecasting for multiple product lines. You will integrate commercial input with operations to build consensus on short-term demand and long-term forecasts, applying statistical models and BI tools.

The role emphasizes data-driven analysis, cross-team collaboration, and process improvement within the supply chain. On-site position with opportunities to influence company-wide forecasting practices.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills (quant/qual) with big-picture view.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication abilities.
• 0–3 years in supply chain or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop demand forecasts (operational) at multiple aggregation levels for short-term and long-term planning.
• Review historical sales trends and demand drivers; prepare forecast data and models.
• Coordinate cross-functional research to reconcile variances and refine forecast assumptions.
• Collaborate with commercial and product teams to ensure current and accurate forecast information.
• Use Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting tool.
• Coordinate changes in demand plan with supply chain and operations.
• Prepare and maintain reports on the demand planning process.
• Track and report key metrics versus forecasts to senior management (e.g., wMAPE, FVA).
