Job summary

U.S. Bank (Elavon) is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst to perform independent assessment, approval, and ongoing monitoring of credit risk exposures across diverse markets.

You will analyse financial statements, evaluate portfolio performance, and identify risk mitigants, providing clear rationale to support decisions. The role requires strong financial analysis, sound judgement, and the ability to manage risk while collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to meet risk management

Qualifications

• Two years of payments or credit experience in credit-related roles such as credit analyst, underwriter, risk review officer, or credit approval officer.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Master's degree or recognized professional qualification in a business-related field would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conducts independent assessment, approval, and ongoing monitoring of credit risk exposures.
• Analyse financial statements, evaluate portfolio performance and credit quality trends.
• Identify collateral or risk mitigants and provide clear rationale for decisions.
