Job summary

HMB LINTEC marine Poland seeks a Service Technician – Electrical Engineering to join our team in Gdańsk. You will independently handle varied crane projects alongside international colleagues, with on-site support from our team in Gdańsk.

Excellent English and German are required, and extensive travel (about 90–95%) is expected. We offer permanent employment with a strong compensation package and opportunities for professional development; travel and engineering tasks span global deployments

Qualifications

• Vocational training in electrical engineering, e.g. as an electronics technician or mechatronics technician in any specialization, ideally with experience in crane service and/or crane manufacturing
• Solid practical experience troubleshooting sensor technology and PLC controls
• Good German and English skills, written and spoken
• High flexibility for worldwide assignments, involving approximately 90–95% travel
• Solution-oriented, highly structured, and communicative personality with strong team spirit

Responsibilities

• Repairing crane systems according to operating instructions, as well as checking and adjusting safety equipment
• Signal measurements on crane sensors, troubleshooting the CAN bus system, and preparing service reports
• Working closely with colleagues fromhydraulics and mechanicss
• Inspecting onboard cranes according to the inspection checklist, as well as preparing inspection reports and repair recommendations
• Acceptance testing of land-based crane systems in accordance with occupational safety regulations
• Commissioning of the electro-hydraulic crane system in collaboration with the team
• Adjusting and parameterizing the crane control system
• Supporting installation work as part ofrepairs or major overhauls, where
