Job summary

Krones AG in Warsaw, Poland is seeking a Service Technician specializing in Automation, Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering. You will join a regional team to install, commission and service Krones lines across Poland and Europe, with frequent foreign assignments and hands-on projects on modern bottling systems.

Qualifications

• Technical education in automation, mechatronics or electrical engineering.
• Experience in servicing or commissioning machines (Siemens systems preferred).
• English language skills for cooperation with headquarters in Germany.
• Ability to travel domestically and abroad.

Responsibilities

• Assembly and commissioning of Krones machines and bottling lines in Poland and Europe.
• Overhaul of Krones machines and lines.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting and implementation of new solutions.
• Programming of industrial control systems and machine communication.
• Commissioning of process control systems and networking systems.
• Work with industrial networks: AS-Interface, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, Ethernet, POWERLINK, CAN bus.
• Domestic and European field service, approx. 80% travel.

What awaits you

Your responsibilities

• Assembly and commissioning of Krones machines and bottling lines in Poland and Europe
• Participation in the overhaul of Krones machines and lines
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting and implementation of new solutions
• Programming of industrial control systems and communication between machines
• Commissioning of process control systems and networking systems for machines and plants
• Work with industrial networks: AS-Interface, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, Ethernet, POWERLINK, CAN bus
• Work with frequency converters and servo drives: Danfoss FC, SEW MOVidrive/MOVIGEAR, B&R ACOPOS
• Ongoing cooperation and exchange of information with the technical department of the Krones headquarters in Germany
• Field work: service, commissioning and overhauls for customers in Poland (approx. 80% of the time) and in other European countries
• Occasional visits to the company's headquarters, without the need for regular commuting to the office
• Place of work: at customer sites throughout Poland and Europe | relocation is not required

Requirements

• Technical education in the field of automation, mechatronics or electrical engineering and experience in servicing or commissioning machines
• SEP E (operation) licenses up to 1 kV
• Experience working with Siemens systems (TIA Portal / S7)
• Practical knowledge of PLC control systems
• Good, communicative knowledge of English, enabling cooperation with the headquarters in Germany
• Category B driving licence
• Readiness for domestic and foreign trips
