Job summary

Mars is seeking a Cloud Operations Lead based in Warsaw to own operational excellence across Azure, AWS, GCP and on-premises systems, within a hybrid, global landscape. You will champion proactive observability, incident prevention, crisis recovery, and automation-first improvements, collaborating with the Cloud Center of Excellence and managed service partners to keep 24/7/365 operations resilient.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience across enterprise platforms, infrastructure, or cloud engineering.
• Multi-Cloud Proficiency with Azure, AWS, or GCP and core compute, network, and storage fundamentals.
• Crisis & Incident Composure: demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex distributed systems and coordinating technical teams through major incidents.
• Pragmatic Leadership: strong stakeholder management and communication skills bridging technical engineers, vendor partners, and business stakeholders.
• Security-First Mindset: practical experience managing access control, identity governance, and foundational cloud security principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the health, performance and availability of multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP and on-prem).
• Implement monitoring and telemetry to anticipate bottlenecks and prevent degradations.
• Forecast workload demands and work with architecture teams to scale resources.
• Lead crisis prevention, incident handling and post-incident reviews for architectural improvements.
• Governance & safeguards for changes, elevated access, and environment promotions to minimize downtime risk.
• Automate provisioning, patching, backups, and routine maintenance with an automation-first mindset.
• ITSM excellence across Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB and DR drills.
• Security & compliance collaboration to uphold least-privilege access and monitor vulnerabilities.
